Numerical investigation of flows with condensation in micronozzles

Abstract The paper considers the numerical simulation of flow argon with account for condensation process in micronozzle and behind it. To describe phase transitions, initial mathematical model viscous heat-conducting gas is supplemented equation formation growth nuclei flow. developed allows simulating at low pressures temperatures. It shown that condensate mass fraction not less than 1% pressure temperature 5 bar 200 K, respectively, when flows out a to environment 0.01 Pa. At nozzle exit, size condensed particles reaches 80 angstroms. obtained results confirm necessity take into phenomenon inert gases.
